Charity-NonProfit
Over our time in the Real Estate business, we have been fortunate enough to be able to support certain area non-profit and charitable organizations. If a client of ours shows support for an area arts organization (something near to our hearts!) or a worthy charitable cause, we will donate up to 10% of our net commissions to that organization. In addition, our annual client party on Superbowl Sunday has become a fundraiser for a local charity...giving our clients the chance to help support a worthy cause. Here are some of the groups that we have had the opportunity to help, please consider them as you decide where to give charitable donations:
Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity
With the help of our clients, we were able to raise $1000 this year at the annual superbowl party. Go team!
Baptist Family and Child Services
We have had the wonderful opportunity to help this organization both financially, and in the location and purchase of a home for a family in need.
The Young Victorian Theatre Company
This is a true Baltimore institution, currently in their 38th Season. The "Young Vic" as it is affectionately know, is dedicated to bringing to life the works of Gilbert and Sullivan. Not only have we been lucky enough to support them financially through the purchase of program ad space, but both Brendan and Catrin have had many occassions to "tread the boards" at the Young Vic as principle singers. Catrin has also been involved as an assistant director, and Brendan has supported the company the best way he knows how...by throwing the cast party (and housing the pesky tenor lead visiting from New York!) Brendan and Catrin will both star in this summer's production of "The Gondoliers."
This local chamber orchestra is led by Randall Stewart, a very capable conductor, the husband of a wonderful soprano, and our client!
